It's whatever is used on the new boats. Seems to be holding up fairly well?(they aren't that old yet haha)
Seems quite a bit more dense than the stuff on my dad's 98 SNOB. Looks to me like the old stuff was maybe open cell foam. This has more of a rubbery/closed cell type of feel to it. |

Zach, What's the material? If it's what was used originally, I'd say it doesn't last for very long. They probably used the cheapest stuff they could find? Depending on the size, it looks like McMaster is at about .40 per foot. Sorry! |

Thanks Pete. I thought you might get a chuckle out of Home Depot. Mcmaster is here in Atlanta so that will work well. Thanks

Have you looked at mcmaster for weather stripping? They typically sell by the foot and there is no minimum. Look under "foam rubber strips" with adhesive backing.
Home Depot? EDPM foam - the best weather resistance Go to "foam" and click on weather resistant EDPM. |

I have the same issue. Haven't been able to find anything I like at Home Depot. Taylor Made only wants $6/ft for it. The only issue is they want to charge $25 to pull it off the shelf plus shipping. I am going to end up spending $60 to replace two 23.5" pieces of weather stripping. Anyone found any good alternatives?

Hey all - looking to replace the weather strip on my walk thru windshield. Looks to be about an inch wide super thin and adhered with double sided tape. I dont see a repalcement part on the parts site. Is this something i need to contact taylor made on? or do i just need to
find something on my own? Thanks in advance... |
