Art,

I accept the offer to enhance your retirement fund, but it will be a "while" before I can get to Florida. Hope and plan for SJRR in 2014!!

Thanks, Todd

Todd, I think I need to turn you loose in my garage for a few hours, then I could retire in fine style!

I love all these neat offers I'm getting, but NC_Tique and I have made a deal. Now, for those who might be interested, I have a good looking BFN dash plate that has 2 of the pins on the back broken off, but it still could be glued to a dash with some Super-Glue or other cyanoacrylate adheisive. It does have two small defects in the chrome finish, but looks just fine from an arm's length away. I would put a spot of clear varnish on it to keep water from corroding the zinc. Anyone interested before I start a thread on it? Todd? You could get an emblem 3X as long as the ST one for the $125!!

Soooooo,

To help Art's retirement fund and keep the purchase in the open, I'll pay $125 to Art for the Tique metal script, sight unseen. Other offers are welcome and encouraged. My offer is good for two weeks, so think about it ya'all. Art has a knack for finding rare items!! I've got a '78 Tique that is always being restored!! It is actually running pretty hot now, but there are always needed things, and I owe Art, big time!!

When the rub rail was installed after the deck was gel coated by the pervious owner they did not drill pilot holes and at every screw for the rub rail I have a gel coat crack. I work in the marine industry and I have seen great results with paint on decks. Gel coat is more durable but a little harder to apply. I was just going to have a decal made to replace to pot metal emblem.

So how many dollars worth do you want one? I'm sort of open to offers.

Bruce,
I'm just watching out for Art's retirement fund since I'm getting to that point as well. With all the talks of government cuts, it's a major concern. You should be thinking about it as well! You were lucky getting the old ones for $25. Who's the extortionist?

Art

Art,
That NOS one you have may be the only one left in the world. Put it on the scale for the weight, get the current price of gold, double that figure and post it. The only problem is a zinc die casting is on the light side!!

On the serious side, I'd start at $200 and ask for sealed bids.

Well as I was stripping the boat for repair. The "Ski Tique" metal logo on the dash broke into 3 pieces.

Anyone have an extra laying around? NOS maybe?

Thanks
