Live fuel dock cam @ Greers Pier Manitowish Waters WI. Looks like Greer's Tiki Bar will be opening late this year. I had filled up here several times by now last year.

We got a fair amount on the east side last night (2-3am), but by the time I got up to go to work (3p), it was almost all gone and the roads were dry.

I hate it, that people are still having winter weather like that. But me? I think I will take off this afternoon and ride around on the lawn mower and the tractor.

We were completely missed in the west metro, no snow or rain. I guess we got "weather change".

I hate to one-up you John, but:

Quote WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* TIMING: MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW TONIGHT AND EARLY THURSDAY.
* SNOW ACCUMULATION: 4 TO 7 INCHES.
* MAIN IMPACT: RAPID SNOW ACCUMULATION MAY QUICKLY MAKE TRAVEL HAZARDOUS.

Twin Cities.

Man I could go for some if this catastrophic global warming the left keeps blathering on about. Would sure save some fuel in the snow plows.

Well, I just payed down some epoxy that is now dry to the touch and it was mixed in the cup 45 minutes ago. The only thing that sucks is that front will be here before I can get it sanded and trimmed up. Supposed to be 50 with 20 to 30mph winds tommorow and with a low I the mid 30's on Friday.

Go global warming!!!!

Issued by The National Weather Service
Green Bay, WI

Wed, May 1, 2013, 3:29 PM CDT
... WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 1 PM CDT THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR HEAVY SNOW... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 1 PM CDT THURSDAY.

* LIGHT RAIN WILL MIX WITH SNOW BY LATE THIS EVENING AND CHANGEOVER TO ALL SNOW AFTER MIDNIGHT. THE SNOW WOULD THEN CONTINUE THROUGH MID-MORNING THURSDAY BEFORE MIXING BACK WITH RAIN.

* TOTAL SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 5 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED OVER NORTHWEST SECTIONS OF VILAS COUNTY.

* ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW-COVERED AND SLIPPERY MAKING TRAVEL DIFFICULT. THE HEAVY... WET SNOW MAY BE ABLE TO BREAK TREE BRANCHES AND AFFECT POWER LINES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE SOME TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES... AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
I guess I can leave the toon in the storage unit a while longer.

Have a nice day!
