Pete thats a great idea, I wish I would have seen this earlier before I just bought two off the '89 Zach's stripping.
I may just make a set and try them out.

The above referenced site is not Airguide.com but Airguide.com.au.....the Australian site for (former) NOS Airguide speedos. Airguide has long been out of business.

Balance tubes (or equalizer tubes) smooth out Airguide response. They do retard the needle response (as written above) but they also attenuate bouncing and exaggerated needle responses...........

I am looking for a pair of equalizer tubes for a 1985 Ski Nautique. These are the tubes in the speedometer pick-up lines. 10" x 7/8"
