Are you sure the Ring and Finger have been cut off? My eyes aren't the greatest but to me it looks like it has just been removed from the pylon.

So boat has not ran for 2 yrs approx. What should i do when i go check it out? Buy a battery and bring some starter fluid?

Looks like it includes a fly-high so that was the reason they probably hacked the ring and finger off. Ring and Finger is kind of tough to describe, but it is what is normally at the top of the Pylon that you hook the rope to. Look in the reference section at that model year boat, you will notice it right away.
I like that is was allegedly given away on The Price is Right. I wonder if Art remembers that, one would think that would be a pretty remember-able shipment/order. I agree with Chris, If Stingers are solid and it runs well, probably a decent deal. |

California tags on an AZ boat?? Hull looks good, it needs an interior, someone cut the ring/finger off and the motor is a question mark. Stringers could also be an issue. Worth a look, if all it needs is skins not a bad buy in the 3.5k range.

I am looking at purchasing my first CC. i am working with a budget of 5k. I found a boat on craigslist. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/boa/3836535244.html
I was wondering i could get some feedback on what people felt about this boat? I know that i will not be paying 4k for it with what needs to be done. I spoke with seller and the boat has not been ran for approx. 2 yrs. Please ;et me know what you think? thanks, JD |
