I did buy two! I believe he has no more left...the cheepest thing I have found is to buy a NOS speedo with the pitot and sell the speedo! I got one recently for about 60.00 and it had the tensioner too...usually see a couple each month!Keep looking!

I believe you could buy 2 new OEM from the individual selling them on the parts for sale board a few months back for that price!

I figured that if he's got his speedo in his hand boat speed must be calibrated to how much it flaps in the wind. kinda like a flag on a windy day. and if his speedo is in hand what's between him and the seat cover?

I think he's fumbling around with those old tube amps trying to find the biggest tube to stuff down his speedos and impress the inflatable doll girlfriend!

floppy, skidim has the new style for $14.
from skidim.com: you can use the 2 existing air guide holes in the boat and drill out the new pitot mounting holes slightly enlarging them to fit the old holes. It is not necessary to use the third mounting screw hole on the new petot unless you just want to |

There is an original airguide pitot on ebay now...that is the one you want!Also a speedo with the pitot...speedo only goes to 45...but it has the pitot!

Floppy...look on ebay...it's not uncommon to find a new old stock "airguide speedo" with the original pitot! I have purchased two this year that way...if you don't need the speedo...sell it!Seach "airguide".

Talk to Vince at Skidim. As I am told, these are not exact OEM replacements, although they will work. You will have to drill new mounting holes because the foot of the pitot has a differnt hole pattern. If you don't mind drilling holes below the waterline in your boat then go for it. And be sure to seal up the unused screw holes as well. Otherwise, look back under parts for sale. A few months back someone had a slug of new OEM pitots for sale. Or watch Ebay, search under Airguide, I've seen lots of speedo's and pitots there going reasonable.

call skidim and get a new one, all that you need is the pitot it's self, check the tubing and make sure it's not dry rotted or cracked or cut if so then you'll want to run a new line.

one of my speedometers works the other one dont. on the back of the boat where the hose goes on the pitot??? not sure what it is called. the nipple is broke can anyone tell me how to fix this.. thanks
