Short answer, don't worry about it.
Long answer, the additive will cost you more than the eventual valve job. It will take years for it to wear out. |

I guess what I should have asked was do I need to run an additive/supplement like Valve Tec or similar as a lead substitute. Thanks, Andre.

Need some help. I have a 1982 SkiTique with a PCM Ford 302. Am I safe running unleaded in it or not. Machine shop I deal with says Ford started using hardened valve seats in about 1974. Anyone know for sure? Thanks, Andre.
