My strainer is actually on the right side, the intake hose goes under the tranny, up to the strainer and over the the fitting to let you hook it to the hose, then down into the tranny cooler. Actually gives more room for the blower and hoses on the left side.

No mount, it just goes in-line. They probably broke it & just bypassed it.

Hi All,
Forgive the silly question as I am a new boat owner 1988 Ski Nautique 2001, as you can see in the attached picture the fresh water intake line is missing the Water Strainer. Nice previous owner. Does anyone have a picture of how it should be plumbed in, is there a mount missing or something. |
