Gary,

You can even use the Apple Pie as Gas if you are in a Jam. However, I would rather walk with a smile on my face.

Back before 911 you could just walk in anywhere, our favorite was the local hospital, you could park in the service area in the back and walk in the back loading dock. We would even get employee discount and never once got caught by the bosses, they had no clue to even think to look in a hospital GPS changed everything including taking longer to do a job. The company just did not understand that by us talking jobs over between us that it saved alot of time. Someone some where had been there before and could tell you where to go to check something rather that you spinning your wheels looking for the trouble. Another problem was managers who didn't know what they were doing,I remember the time when I did supplies and tools that they would tell you to get rid of something because they had no idea what it was for. When the guy that did constructions tool room retired they sent a couple of new guys to clean his room, they thru out everything, the rest of us went dumpster diving and laughed later when they went looking for what was now gone

No Pete we didn't have that many safety meetings, but if we went so long without an accident they would cater breakfast and that went by crew not the garage. And just so you know, you stay away from fast food places, that is the first place the big shots would look and second they were to much out in the open anyway, strip malls were best, you park out back The art of not being seen

Hary,
I think in your earlier career, you stopped to many times with the ComEd guys at the fast food spots??

BTW,
did you have to go to a safety meeting every morning like the do??

These things are great, they did have 2 different sizes, don't bother with the small one. The new gas doesn't taste as good as the old stuff anyway, and I don't have any Apple Pie to wash it down with

I purchased a clear siphon hose from Bass Pro Shop that has a Brass fitting with an internal ball on the end of the hose. You lower the brass fitting with internal ball into the tank and you move the hose up and down and it will pull out the gas. You do not have to get gas in your mouth. Very inexpensive item.

If it is a GT40 just remove the return line back to the tank and jumper the STO to run the pumps.
If you're going through hell, keep going
