Fuse Holders... maybe convert to Circuit Breakers?

Pete, we're sticking with the originals. My son crawled under and carefully tightened all the fuse holders. One was stripped, so I'll pick up one new holder. He also cleaned all the ignition switch connections, everything clean and tight. We're getting there.

Thanks for that info. I did a google search with site:correctcraftfan.com including "Buss" and found the

Fuse pots 1975 style

thread. We'll try tightening them up and if they cause problems, we'll order new ones.

Related question: Any way to "flip" the panel, or do you have to crawl under (with seats removed) to work on the gauges, etc.?

One of the (several) problems we had on vacation was with the fuse holders on the panel being loose. The holders aren't tight in the dash and rotated a little when checking the fuses, which actually twisted off the corroded connections behind the dash. My son spent a half hour on his back putting new spade connectors on the loops between the fuse holders for the bilge pump, blower and ignition. (I think we'll be replacing that wiring.)

Anyway, I haven't crawled under there yet. Are the fuse holders easy to tighten? Where can I buy replacements? And, best of all, have any of you guys converted these to circuit breakers, and if so, where to buy those?
