77 Tique Blower Problem |

That is normal; the blower is only hooked up to one port. The other is for passive air exchange. If you remove the rear seat you should be able to see it above the fuel tank. Check for cracks and damaged hoses.

I think mine on the 78 Tique blows out just one side (port side if I recall). I went looking for the blower on the Tique a couple of weeks ago; unlike my 89 Nautique, which has a simple inline blower in the engine compartment (cheap and easy to replace) the blower in the Tique is a different/older design, mounted above the fuel tank behind the cover at the stern, just under one of the two cowlings you mentioned, which makes me think the other is passive (front scoop, through the compartment to the rear).

Hey Guys,
On our 77 Ski Tique, there are two exit ports under the grab bar that blow air out of the engine compartment while the blower is running...so my question is, while the blower is running, should I feel air coming out of both of these? Currently, only one is blowing air. |
