Been a while since I've worked on my Interceptor project. I think they might have made a couple of 4bbl intakes? Make sure the intake accepts a Holly bolt pattern. If I remember right, some of the intakes used a "teapot" carb. Would have to check...I might have an extra 4bbl intake for a Holly.
Also, be aware you may need to modify the engine cover to clear a down draft carb. |

You can mount an automotive intake to the engine, but you have to adapt it for the cooling system by either cutting the intake like ours was, which uses the Interceptor parts, or leaving it as is and using different fittings.

I have a 1960 272 interceptor with twin carter yh side draft carbs. Can I mount a intake manifold on it to have one down draft carb. Where can i find a manifold that would fit. thanks royremm@msn.com
