Hi, My tach has black face o to 6 thou. rpm no.651-654.

Dave, Do you have a pic of your tach? I assume you have some sort of black faced Airguide? Some had silver or white centers / accents. How many r's does it have?

Google kocian instruments. He has done a couple of Teleflex tach's. He replaces the insides with Autometer guts because the teleflex's are cheap. Maybe the air guides can be repaired call him he's a great guy to talk to but very slow since he is retired and it's a one man shop. I can post a pic when I get home

I have air guide tach that is very lazy it will not read higher then a thousand rpm. Tach is in 66 barracuda 318 engine. Can someone give me suggestion for fix.
