The foam pads under my engine cover are disintegrating. I have new pads on order from the dealer that are cut to size with sticky backs.
- Has anyone ever changed these pads successfully? - What did you use to remove the old pads? An adhesive remover? A scraper? - What is the material the pads attach to? If I have to use some kind of solution to remove the adhesive, I don't what it to harm the underside of the engine cover. Any advise that worked would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Tom T.
