I have a used 40" shaft that has been put on a dial indicator and is less than .003" out that I'd sell for $75. If money is not an issue, I'd go with a new double taper from DIM, also.

One suggestions is Discount Inboard Marine. Great to work with, should be able to give you good advice. If you decide to get a double taper shaft, I believe they can get you cheaper for you than you can get it from the manufacturer.

I need a prop shaft and strut for a 1970 Mustang. if anybody can give me any information on part numbers or places that may have one I would be greatful.
