Shelby Stanga - Ax Men It was custom built in 1975 for use in the oilfield. Cousin Louis owned it before Shelby. It had a 460 Ford with about 250 HP and a single stage Jacuzzi jet pump. It now has a 362 ci with close to 400 HP and a 3 stage jet pump by Marine Power in Ponchatoula. It does 48 mph and can stop within 100 feet at full throttle. Ya better be hangin on! |
