Peter,
That Vette is very cool. 1967 is the best of all of the mid year Corvettes- probably of all Corvettes. A life long dream come true, I am very happy for you. Congratulations. |

Great looking ride Peter. There isn't a whole lot better than a c2. That footage of the Vette museum is nauseating.

Beautiful looking Vette, Peter. What a score!
I was reading in Car and Driver about the classic car market and it was predicting that automatics would start bringing more money than standards because the younger generation doesn't know how to drive standards. |

Here's a pretty good chart. 300 and 350 hp in 67. 65 was the year with many 327 options.
http://rowleycorvette.com/stats67.html I had a 327/300 with a powerglide in an F1 panel truck. You could run it to 5k in 1st, shift into 2nd it and would climb to about 5800 as it slipped into 2nd. |

it is probably a non original 270 hp motor but its ok , for the investment v.s condition it is a good driver. I have a 427 motor that hasnt run in yrs i suppose i could go to the effort of swapping it in but I probably never will. I cant find any reference to the 300 hp being available that yr. if i could change any one thing it would be to a black interior. I cant wait to wind that powerglide up to 60 and feel it slush into drive.

Looks like there were 2 327 options with 300 & 350hp variants and 4 427 options with hp ratings of 390, 400, 430, 435. 67 Specs |

I stand corrected.
Wasn't there also four 427 options that year? Topping out at 435 horse I think. |

1967 BASE was a 327 with 300 HP. The 327 OPTION was 350 hp, a $105.00 fee! Mine was a Marina Blue 327/350 (30% ordered) with a bright blue interior and 4 speed. The high collector is the the 427, but they all are costly.

Congrats on the Vette. Definitely post some pics. Too bad it's not the 427, but it's still a '67 Vette.
One of my favorites, but I wish I could have my uncles old '65 1/2. It was silver with a black interior convertible with a 396 425hp. The only year they put them in the Stingray. Car was a beast. He took me for a hell ride in it and we were flying at well over 140. Unfortunately the car was wrecked. He still misses it to this day. |

I bet those guys thought those Vettes were in a safe place. That's crazy.
I think you could get a '67 327 Vette anywhere from 265 hp to 375 hp. You'll have to stop by and check out that Cuda! |
