Thanks for the input, I believe it is just the glass that is missing although the pictures I seen the top rail of the frame was missing as well. Not sure if it comes with the boat or not.
Im guessing that the glass would need to be tempered if he was to go and have a piece cut to be able to make that curve in the frame...... |

Is he missing the entire windshield or just the glass? Glass is no big deal as it's all flat, but the frame can be hard to source. The same basic windshield was used 82-86, though the 82 and early 83 boats had vents in the wings.

Putting the feelers out there for a friend, he just purchased an 82 or 83 (still hasn't picked up yet and guy selling doesn't know what he has got) 2001
The windshield is missing and we will be looking for a good replacement, once I get exact data I will post it up, for all I know the part could be exactly the same for both years (looks the same from pics I have seen)....... you guys are the experts. |
