Sorry it just occured to me the 72 is swept back please disregard my last post. There are several people parting out old boats try getting a oylon from one of them. You could also have a machine shop drill a larger hole fill it with material pressed or welded in and redrilled.

Turn the pylon 90 degrees and redrill a new hole then do the same with the loop at the top.

I have a '72 Nautique. The hole in the ski pylon, through which the bolt attaching the pylon to the hull fits, has worn from its original round shape to a large oval. This causes considerable movement in the pylon. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to fix this? Thanks.
