Both main & secondary stringers will be douglas fir as well as the ribs, floor will be marine grade plywood, see picture above of doug fir and plywood.

As for the materials needed (resin type, glass type, number of layers on each structural piece) that is the question I do not have the answer to. I have very little knowledge of fiberglass and/or resin in this application of a SN stringer replacement. Hope to get some guidance in this area, please.

Sounds like you're puting the cart before the horse?

Have you done this yet?

What Gary means is use the following syntax on Google:

Site:correctcraftfan.com "stringer material list"

That's the best way to search the site - Not the CCFan search feature.... Hope that helps....

Google correct craft fan stringer material list. You need to do way more grinding on the bilge to get that gel removed along side those stringers.

Finally got a couple of pictures loaded. Not the best quality but hopefully you can see them. Secondary stringers out and one main stringer is out. Lumber has arrived. So back to my original question, what do I need for fiberglass, epoxy, CPES etc.. to get started bedding the main stringer? I have read several threads on stringer replacement but few have a materials list for these items or much detail of the fiberglass process. If there is a good example please let me know. I do not plan to rebuild with foam. Any help would be appreciated,

Another stringer replacement thread on CCF, maybe not exciting to anyone else but I need help & this is the best place to get it! I have been reading posts on CCF for years but this is my first posting.
A little history first: this 76 Ski Nautique was purchased new as a promo boat from Hartwick Lake Marina in Delhi IA by my wife's family & has never been resold. Lake Delhi is gone for the moment (google Lake Delhi Dam breach) which gives me an opportunity to restore the SN since my wife made it very clear that the boat is not for sale and it never will be! That said, let the restoration begin.
Today I have the 350 Chevy OMC out and on engine stand, the floor is out and down to one main stringer left. Douglas fir order arrived Thursday. Now for my question, where to find the most accurate materials list for epoxy, fiberglass, tape, CPES, etc. And where to order? Seems like iplan has a good list in his Stringer repair 1985 2001 ski nautique thread. As of now the plan is not to use foam.
I would like to get an order out this week so any advice would be appreciated.
