Justin,
You may be the youngest registered member but close behind is Maddie She is CQ's daughter and learned loving the CC's from day one. Keep up the interest in our great boats. Don't worry about not having a boom. The older group here including myself learned to BF before booms were even a dream!! Long line will teach you greater skills.

OverMyHead, I always looked at those and would stay up all night reading them, I think i could talk him into getting a boom. The mini mustang is mine, I made it for the carboard boat races we have at our campground and I got most realistic boat.

Baitkiller,
I drive the mustang every chance I get. I love helping my dad with anything involving the boat.

Welcome, hang out and learn allot. My oldest son just turned 13. He is learning engine theory and gets regular boat driving lessons in the hope that one day he can take girls out on the '79. We shall see....
As for foot'n, with no boom just sit on a wakeboard and dip the ankles in. Dont stand up.
That's all I got. HW? your up.
Jesus was a bare-footer.............

Check out the learning to barefoot thread for lots of good information. Tell your dad we say HE should suck it up and get you a boom.

Is that a mini mustang you are in in the photo?
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

Speaking of Bare Feet, I'm trying barefooting this summer. Sad thing is I don't have a boom, so my dad said i will have to suck it up and do a long line start.

Start 'em young, right?! It's good to have some young blood around. I mean, who is going to buy up all these coveted old boats in the next 10-15 years?

Justin, where are you located in IL? Try and talk the family into a reunion (or four) this summer. Pictures are always welcomed but seeing the boat in person is better.

I will admit I'm probably a little young for this site but age will not stop my love for Correct Crafts and I want to be able to share this passion with all of you Correct Craft lovers. The '72 Mustang that I say is mine is my dads but i love it just as much if not more I'm actually 13 but I just love these fine Boats.
