I figure Pete read the thread in the link where Don posted today and then looked back thru Don's old posts and commented on this old one.

I have to go schedule an appointment with the shrink ASAP since I can actually understand what Pete did. This has me more than a little scared

acme 542 was the solution..thx man...also weight is up some but not THAT much
replaced it with the 542 from Propmd and have been sking like crazy again

Things that come first to mind is complete tuneup including making sure advance is working as it should and putting on a Acme 540. If your still running the original one and depending how many times it's been repaired it could be past it's prime. Maybe too you both have put on a little weight in the last 27

my 1987 nautique 620 original hours all mine seems sluggish from the hole shot - used to rip me out with double boot now feels like a four cylinder pull.....boat runs great other than the hole shot with or without skier is not nautique like - any ideas out there?
