There are mobile repair people who can do a perfect repair, car dealerships use them. A buddy of mine caught his sun pad on his garage door. A guy came out and fixed it for about $120.
Or you can try the Permatex vinyl and leather repair kit, about $25. It includes an electric heat tool to set the repair over a release plastic patterned piece. It takes a bit of patience. |

They make colored duck tape now.

Just shooting from the hip here but what about taking the panel off, then reinforce the rip with a patch and glue. You'll still see a line but it'll be glued shut.

I would assume you should take it to an upholstery shop. More than likey you'll be replacing the panel.

Did multiple searches and didn't find anything. Got my first small rip in my vinyl. About and inch or so long. What is the best repair product for this? It is on the back of the sun pad of my 99 sport. Thanks for any recs you can give.
