79, I have tons of other work to due to the boat and it is very close to all out skiing season. I have little knowledge of inboard carburators so doing it myself is out. Can I get an estimate on the rebuild? and what would be included?

re-build what you have, and put it back on. If you want you can ship it to my dad's shop and he can do it for you for a cost that is. Most here have a holley and not a lot of people are very good with the Q-jet carbs.

I have a Quadrajet carburator on my Cuddy that I believe is bad. I just bought the boat in the fall and only ran it one time before winterizing it. The motor ran fine except that it would not idle. I believe that the boat sat awhile and the idle circuits are clogged. I want to replace the carb with a new/rebuilt one. What are my best options? Who has the best price?
