Tim,
Thanks for the reply. I tried again pushing really hard on all areas of the horn portion of the rubber membrane. No luck.

Did you push it hard enough? Mine takes more pressure than the number keypad.

I just added a very nice low hour 2002 Ski Nautique as a daily driver. Just a few things to get perfect. So far I can't get the horn to sound. Boat has the keyless ignition with serial switching etc. All functions on the port key pod work except the horn. Horn sounds crisply when power is applied to the connector under the dash that goes to the horn area. So far I have found no set of conditions(ignition on/off/engine running etc) and horn pad depressed that puts power on the pig tail (black ground and orange with a blue tracer) that comes from the 40 pin connector on the control module. Ground wire has continuity to ground. Breaker is not tripped and I see no way to trip it and reset. I have not probed at the 40 pin connector as some disassembly would be needed to get to that area. Connector to port pod was checked and seems to be fine. The buttons other than the horn seem to have a little tactile feedback that I don't feel on the horn location but this is a little subjective.

Am I missing anything and down to expensive parts trial and error or just hard wiring a horn button under the dash? Wiring on my 64 sure is a lot simpler!

Thanks
Terry
