Chris, Thank's for the link. Yup, I missed it since that's when I was off site. I took a look at the thread and it sure looks like a interesting project. When done, you could haul it down to Billy's for some bayou boating! Well, did you have a good birthday? |

Pete - I started a thread already but haven't updated it yet because project is still in the ugly stage.
I'll post the few pictures I have in the other thread. It should get more interesting when I get the engine installed. |

Thanks everyone!
No beer until 4PM for me, even then it's only 1 as I mentor a robotics team & have to show up somewhat sober. I spent the afternoon working on my inboard jet jon boat. I adapted my 40-yr-old Millermatic 35 mig welder to run aluminum (a feat as it wasn't designed for that) & now have the engine stringers in. Sorry no closeup pictures of that as the welds are fugly. Molten aluminum does not like to bridge gaps!
