I purchased mine from a good upholstery shop. We got good stuff, although I don't know the brand. I got carpet for the side steps on my trailer from Home Depot and I would never put such low-grade material in my boat. I highly recommend that you go with a premium grade carpet for your boat. It will hold up better, look better, and will be easier to install.

not a big deal, Im just curious. I've been doing some google searches, and it seems to be a gray area. Obviously different carpets may be nicer or more plush, but other then the "marine marketing" I'm not sure if it really matters which one you go with. Again, outdoor carpet, carpet that is made to go outside vs. Marine carpet which is made to humm go outside? haha.

We got ours from Jamestown Distributors. Price was low and you can buy it bundled with the glue. We ended up having more than enough glue.

Whats the over all consensus on replacement carpet? I recently bought out door carpet from home depot, didn't install yet. I think it will look and hold up fine, but have been second guessing myself and thinking maybe going with a marine carpet from premium boat carpets http://www.boatcarpet.com/p-6-20-oz-textured-marine-grade-boat-carpet.aspx. anyone ant to shed some light on me?
