You could get a sewing machine & develop the skill to make new skins yourself. Others have done this with respectable results.

Just got back from the upholstery shop with a drivers seat and a observers cusion that the seams are coming out of. $400 dollars to repair! Is that a fair price? I could buy new seats for that much. Does any one have a drivers seat for sale? What do you guys usually do for seat repair like that?Its for a 1994 Hydrodyne.
