I'd have to say the bunks you got on the trailer were NOT original.

There are a couple great bunk threads. I suggest you go with the original beveled 2x4's so they cam be bent into the wishbone shape. With the straight 2x6's, you will end up with the same problem - no hull support towards the bow.

They are straight 2X6 cut and beveled on a curve....... The originals also had an extra width attached near the front but the hull never came close there so these are a bit shorter.
1980 SN - don't worry dear, I may have $10+K into this project boat but I can easily sell it for $5k

Hi all,

looking for some help trying to figure out what is supposed to go on the capacity plate. It was bare when I bought it but was able to register no problem as they didn't even look at the trailer. Now as I have it painted and trying to more or less restore it I would like it as original as possible.

Registration says it is a 1980, same as the boat.
Specifically want to figure out what the GVWR should be, how tires would have been specified on the decal and whether the individual axle info even would have been filled out (since it is single axle.).
