Agreed but a caveat to this is be careful. If you feel high spots, which you will, sand around those by hand or you'll soon be through the gel if you persist with the block. At least in my experience. |

Steady, light to moderate pressure, use a block at 600grit and coarser. Straight lines.

I took a first past last weekend at wet sanding / buffing etc... The end result was good, but not where I want it. As this was the first time I was conservative and only used 2000 grit paper.
This round I am going with the incremental approach starting out more coarse as suggested in the FAQ. Questions - 1. How much pressure is applied? Is it a light rub or do you give it some elbow grease? 2. Do you only sand in straight lines or do you alternate with circles. Thanks in advance.. |
