Did mine today, got some real good cleaner/degreaser, sparyed it down and took a soft bristle brush to it, now you could eat off of it!

I used on my 69,it was the only way to really get the build up off.

I haven't peaked under my floor boards (82 SN) in a couple months, so I decided to check it out. It's certainly never been spotless before but I don't think I've seen it this bad. It's all that slimy black grime in the back. Do I have an exhaust leak?

My plan is to pull the motor and fuel tank this off season, would a power washer be too harsh on the glass to clean this up?
