I know the tongue wgt. should be 10% of trailer wgt. so if you follow that I'm only over by 30 or so lbs. Maybe I'll live with it for now. I'll deal with the boat issues first.

What's your concern with the tongue weight? Do you like your trailers to fish tail? What adjustments do you plan? Are you going to get the torch out on the fixed bow stop?

Maybe I just have to make some adjustments. and get used to it. The ride seems harsh could be the torsion axle. Tongue wgt is heavy like 435lbs. Bow stop is fixed welded. so it is what it is. I guess I was spoiled with my 89 CC trailer.

I haven't measured a Prestige, but they sure look like Ramlin/cc clones to me. What specifically don't you like about it? Curious why you think a Ramlin would be much different.

Looking for a Correct Craft or Ramlin trailer for my 96 Nautique. Currently have a Prestige trailer in good shape just don't like the way the boat sits on it.
