Good deal. The dual pick ups are typical of all boats of that era. I suspect the du impeller chryslers can use the extra flow the 2nd pick up provides. All my fords are looped like you describe.

1" on the 71. Another "Timmy Tee" installed.

Mine had the double water pick up, the port side simply "looped back" to the starboard pick up and connected with a tee.

<5sec with the tee, Tim... No hose clamps to mess with or knuckles to bust open getting the hose off the fitting!

The line size differed between marinizers, Greg- not sure which size HM used. For the extra $2, I'd pick up tees in both 1" and 1-1/4".

Greg the few times I've run the 72 on dry land All I did was remove the hose from the water pickup fitting and stick the male end of the water hose from the house in the cooling hose and use the worm clamp to secure it........ Works GREAT and takes about 30 seconds to do it. The mustang hose should be long enough to attach to your bucket if your using the bucket method.

my $.02.

I am headed to the lake today and want to pick up the materials (before getting to the lake) to install the Timmy T in the Mustang. Does anyone know off hand the size of the water pick up lines?
I am considering installing the T's and then putting together a siamese (wye) type line for use with the bucket for winterization.

Thoughts?
