That's a good idea, definitely something I will look into if I'm still without a lift come springtime. Thanks!

Hope you find one, but to prevent it hitting dock in the meantime, at the very least you could/should get some mooring whips (kinda pricy..) , or simply string it out between the dock and a buoy. Two lines fore and aft to the dock, then strongly anchor a buoy amidships with 2 lines, one to bow and one to stern. Have done it this way for many years on our annual pilgrimage to NY, has never budged, even in whitecaps, works great.

Yeah I had a series of craigslist alerts setup for a few months looking for 'floe' and 'shoremaster' and 'boat lift' and wasn't getting any hits. I'll probably start manually searching again, but figured it wouldn't hurt to drop a note on the forum here to see if anyone knew of anything not listed on CL.

Craigslist!! Also a good time of year to see what you local marina / dock lift dealer might have laying around.

Shorestation makes a very good quality lift, best bang for the buck IMO,

Hi All - I'm hoping to snag a used boat lift for my 1986 Ski Nautique 2001. Last summer was my first season owning the boat and I had no choice but to tie her to the dock and let it float all season. I would love to keep it out of the water on weekdays when I'm not around to avoid the algae build-up and inadvertent crashing into the dock from waves.

If anyone is parting with theirs or knows of someone selling one I would be very interested. I'm in southeast NH but would be willing to drive a few hours to pick one up for the right price.

Thanks!
Tim
