at my parents place in northern MI I have an '88 2001 for wake boarding and a 22' pontoon for cruising around. my dad has a 14' Aluminum boat for fishing with a '67 Evinrude that runs like a top ALWAYS. it's a smaller (300 acre) lake so no need for something big and fast.
At home i have a '99 super air for wake boarding and considering getting a 25'ish sailboat. home lake is 1000' acres so i think a sailboat would be fun. we have dreams of moving to the charleston SC area and i've always liked the idea of (don't hate me) a Mastercraft CSX... |

As far as I can tell, I'm not quite sure...

I would have a 40+ft trojan or egg harbor., a 2001 hull blue and white , or Randy in ohios boat. and if money still allowed i would make my formula into a twin small block boat.

My set up is pretty nice for us. 2004 Stingray open bow IO at the lake that tends to get crowded. SN 2001 near the lake with the ski club. The Stingray cuts the chop well, skis well, wakeboards well, kneeboards well, and is a comfortable boat to meet up with friends and social boat. It does everything pretty darn good.
Then I have my ski boat for the course and barefooting. If I were to change anything, it would be a 20ft v-drive Tige, Malibu, or Nautique that would add surfing to the mix. From my research, these are the only ones still decent for skiing. So far no desire for a fishing boat. However, my pop took up fishing after turning 60 so I will not say never. |

I'd love to have stroker GT40, 400HP SN, but a new house on the lake with a massive 4'car garage has to come first. Paying for storage for another boat would be insane.

We'd have a brand new 200 sport for fresh water and a Regal 35 Sport Coupe for the salt..............of course only if money was no object.

Very cool there. All of you would have more boats than I would own. Whatever floats your boat. I guess I'm not much of a fisherman at all. Nor one to have a pontoon at all.

I'd only own more than we have currently if I had a mechanic.
Loads of money and a staff to keep em running; -Hayne Flats Boat -brand new super jet -25'-30' baja or something similar. - new super air 230 - rebuild my pro 785 Polaris pwc.. That'll do. |

River jets are cool too. I would bet there are plenty of shallow streams up in your northwoods to explore.

If money was no object and if I had the room,I could see a late model Barracuda SS. And even though this might go against Pete's ideas I would clone it to my Mustang- Taffy Ivory deck,Meridian Blue hull.
Powered by a 408 Holman Moody and a PCM trans to complete the package but made to look as if Correct Craft built it. Everything else seems to be covered already- Mustang,Nautique Super Sport,Shamrock 20 Walk Thru and a Herter's 16' Yukon fishing boat |

We have a Century Mark II and a Southwind. Best of both worlds,.....a little hotrod 360 v-drive, and an unmuffled 351 DD that a hurricane wouldn't sink chopwise. If we ever moved to the lake I guess we'd add a 3rd and make it a pontoon. ..laugh if you want but great for packing on the grandkids and all for a nice slow booze cruise.....
Jetskis are fun but would never own one...20+ years every summer I ride a friends, fun for maybe an hour but then I just get bored with it..... Ideally? I'd Add a Donzi Sweet Sixteen to the mix.... .. .. |

We have a '76 Ski Nautique and a '93. The '76 is pretty much my wife's boat, it does the cruising And hot rodding, 93 does the skiing when I'm not skiing with others. We also have an '06 17' Carolina Skiff for fishing and playing on the coast, it's the dog' s boat and our do all boat Official slalom course work boat. Just sold a 2000 22' Key West for spearfishing, that boat was a nightmare, now it's somebody else's nightmare. Looking for a 24' Shamrock to fill the void the KW left and I'm really wanting and looking time to time for a trailerable houseboat.

Having more than 1 boat. what boats would you own? To keep up at my parents lake house on the Three Lakes Chain. I would have an 85 or 86 Ski Nautique. I really like the way they look and make for an awesome ski boat. As well as a Sea Doo jet ski. Which would be nice to have to get into lakes where a boat can't get into. Or if it's a hot day. That to would be kept at my parents lake house.
The other boat would be a Sonic 31ss with twin 500s Mercruiser. That boat would be used on Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. There really sharp looking and goes rather fast at 80mph. The boat could go through 4 to 5' waves. You can actually sleep in it as well. |
