Was it just me, or did everyone notice the color of that "Bannana Hammock", and the resemblance to a certain persons newly acquired Nautique? You bought it didn't you!? Tell the truth!! Throwing poor Hollywood in for deception purposes .......... |

Kap...either you or Kristof are next up as you both have extended an open door policy to me. I've skied on two continents and several states and skiing on 6 of 7 of them are on my bucket list. May have to head to your place first when it's summer time down there!

Oh we overdid it on Sat.....Adam and I introduced Mark and his local skibud Andrew to Mofoots.....we paid for it on Sun. Walk in the park for Adam but the rest of us were sluggish on Sunday.

You back then? We just rode thru on Sunday, missed you by that much! Everything must be big down under but a 69 and 66 foot skis that's something Pictures of you skiing on the lake were something too-flat water and not a house insight, much like here

The old man did get worn out down there. First run that day I was on a 69' ski and the video has me on a 66'....Took some getting used to but I liked the smaller ski better...
Have a whole new respect for boxing. Worked out for the first time ever with gloves and pads two days after this run. My arms were mush and sore as crap. Barely had enough strength to get up on a Slalom on Sunday. That's the ultimate Skiers workout. Wish I was gonna be there for Adams first fight! |

Timbobs slalom run downunder.
Not sure about Adam's comment that 1 " smaller is better than 2 " longer. Gary we make a new ramp every week as the water levels fall The Jeep is a very capable 4WD have not managed to get it stuck yet |

Another view of downtown when Adam and I walked into downtown to grab a bite and hit a place called the Meat Maiden...Best brisket in town and was so good we ordered the briskit tips after the main meal cause it was gosh darn good. I also believe that Sat night that Adam and I were in an Irish pub have some Jamenson cocktails when some dude from Tasmania is PO'd at life and some chick and announces he is gonna be sick and throw up. Adam says not on me your not or fists will start flying... Dude bowed up, spouted off at the mouth and said dude I will kill you and a whole bunch of other crap as he is taking off his jacket. Bunch of other crap came out when the Bartender interviened and so did I cooling the dude down. Adam just kept his cool and continued to drink his drink. The guy chilled shook Adams hand and bought three shots of whiskey and then started preaching philosophy on us.....Dude was from Pluto I think.......
Adam had to work Monday so I headed to the Zoo as it was something to do and I had heard it was a good one. Enjoyed the day, met some nice folks from Holland and chatted with for quite awhile. The Meerkats were my favorite as they are busy bodied fellows and plain old make you laugh. Cool baboon as he was eating lunch. This little fellow posed for me as I took this one. Beautiful colors as you can see and the picture doesn't do it justice. SOOOOooooooooo all this leads to this next picture as last night Adam and I were checking out the southern part of Melbourne trying to find a decent place to eat.......Everything, and I mean everything is a Burger. Chicken Burger, Pork Burger, American Burger... And of course Chips (aka fries) with tomato sauce. NOT ketchup.... its Tomato sauce. Anyway as we were walking into the pub district we laughed as we passed a Sex shop as the doorway had the plastic drappie things as an entrance. Didn't check it out too much going but coming back after eating????? OMG Adam says..."Dude.....would you look at that?" I looked up at the show window and there is our very own Hollywood sporting a...........whatchamacallit! Adam an I could not stop laughing for 10 mins. Passers by thought we lost it.........well we had!.....ya gotta see it to believe it! |

As many of you know I decided a couple months ago that needed to finally get my arse down to Australia to see our Mates down theah'. Lewy and his wife Jo extended a open invitation to me the first weekend I even met them years ago in Green Lake. Adam is here asbwell so I made the journey down here last Wed the 13th and got here in Melbourne on the 15th. So yes, there is a Foot down Un'da!
The plan was to ski with Adam a few days and do a few touristy things but the lack of rain here in Melbourne but the skids on that. The water is to low that the ramp is unusable. Adam was to pick me up at the Airport but in typical Adam fashion....... He broke his own Jeep. It wouldn't and won't start. Seems there is a really bad short in the ignition switch ( internet says there is a recall) so I had to use public transportation to hook up with him. The view from his place downtown is pretty cool and he has been an outstanding host/bud. Hooked me up with a Tram card to use the trolley system here in town and what's cool about this whole experience so far is that I/we have a friend whose figured it all out all so I'm not the typical tourist. I know why he's lost weight and I probably have to as you walk a lot! ] Toured the town market which is just plain insane as vendors sell everything and cheap! Bars(Hotels) are a dime a dozen and you live here as long as he has and not hit them all. We took a tour of the Shrine of Remembrance which is a monument for all Veterans of every conflict that Victoria Territories soldiers have fought in. Very cool, very informative! Then it was off to a AFL game. That was a blast even though I don't quite understand all the rules but it was fun just to fan watch and drink beer with me mate. After the game on Sundays they let fans onto the playing field The walk back into the city from the game. So after the game and six beers later Adam and I are really hungry and Asian was the choice. We cruise into China Town and We had so many to choose from our head was spinning. Saw a Japanese Vocanic Stone Restaurant and said ..."Why not" ...many selections to choose from but being the guys we are we went with slabs of beef. They brought it out separately and brought a special stone heated to 750'F for you to cook it to your liking... Best meal so far on this trip. Off to the zoo yesterday as my host had to work so I hit that. Very nice zoo with lots of native animals. I'll try and get some pics up that I took from my phone as that is where I am posting all this from. Don't wanna risk losing all that I've typed so far. You all know me well enough that I've taken lots of pics so far and will get them up when I can......Stay tuned! |
