Are your idle mixture screws set correctly? If it was dripping fuel from the primaries before rebuild maybe they were turned all the way in in a wrong effort to fix that problem.

Rebuilding a 4160 carb (holley kit) on my 1986 Nautique after it sat for 5 years.
