Why don't you pull the switch out and look for any identifying marks on it? Since Ford built the engine there must be a Ford part number. Finding it would be the hard part . Since the switch puts the engine into SLOW (limp) mode at around 210 degrees, you probably won't find he same switch on your referenced 95 F-150 since they don't put it into any kind of protective mode at that temperature in the automotive version of EEC4. You just might have to get the PCM part

Thanks Gary...I was looking for the switch, I've ordered the sensor but also want the switch/sender. I just posted in the poor mans diag thread and tagged you about the correct sender...there are actually 2 different motorcraft models there. Can you take a gander at that thread and offer your guru advice?

Two different sensors Matt. The one you listed is for the water temp for the boats water temp gauge and mounts in the water pump on a GT 40. The one Paul referenced is the water temp sensor that tells the ECM what the water temp is and mounts in the intake manifold. Good to have as well though.
