just to confirm I found the heater hose coming of the engine and there are some fittings about 1 foot down the line. I can plug the hose before the water would reach the heater and everything else should work fine? Thanks for the help

You can plug or connect the lines at the heater core end or off the engine. Won't make any difference either way.

When using the 05 SAN this last weekend, hot water started trickling down the floor by the drivers feet. I am assuming that it came from the heater. I don't use or even care to have a heater in the boat and don't want to replaced it. Is that something I can disconnect back by the engine or does I need to circulate through the system to keep everything else working properly? Thanks for the help.
