Eric,
Welcome to CCfan. I feel you have found the only spot concerning anything regarding your CC. In the maintenance section, there's a FAQ thread with links to other threads. It's a fantastic spot to look for answers. Here's the poor mans gt40 diagnostic thread link that's in the FAQ thread. Take a look at it before you resort to the dealer. Keep us informed as to what you do, what you find and of course ask if you can't find the answer. We have some fantastic members who, with their knowledge, I would put up against any dealer "tech" out there.. Since you don't hear the pumps running, check the relays first. They are the typical problem. Tell us more about the boat, Pictures are always great. A diary entry when you get a chance. |

Need some help, I have a 97 Sport with a GT-40. Tried to start the boat today, turns over but won't start. The fuel control unit did not make any noise as usual when I turn on the key. Do I need a new Fuel Control Unit. Anything I can check before I hand it over to the boat dealer mechanic?
Thanks, Eric Nelson |
