Thanks! Now that I compare my boat to the brochures, it is more like a 1992. For example, it has the aluminium handle in the transom area. Maybe the model years were a bit more fluid back then?

The majority of 91's got the spray paint graphics shown in the 92-93 brochures. The 91 brochure features pre-production (or 1990) boats, so it's possible that some early 91's got the checkered 89-90 graphics. Both have been recreated and are available last I heard.

I finally got the hull side decals from Nautiqueparts.com and what they sent was the wrong year, not the 1991 decals with the colour fade. I'm hoping they (or someone else) actually has the 1991 decals in stock.

Check pricing from White Lake, N3 and Christines, but plan to pony up the $ if you care about the original look (like many of us do).

Agreed 100% As someone who bought these recently from White Lake I have to say they are incredibly high quality screenprinted 3M Vinyl. It's an absolutely crucial visual detail of the boat and worth every dime. Don't skimp and put some cheesy sign shop graphics on there, that's going to look ridiculous. It's worth the money.

$234 for 2 sides is stout in my opinion. Check around and see what is available.

OK Mr. non original , now factor in the vinyl shop having to buy a whole roll!! BTW, the original "fade" is white on clear.

Thanks

Considering these are original duplicates, that's a very good price. Understand they are NOT solid color vinyl. It's my understanding that many vinyl sign shops would be challenged to duplicate the dotted fade and I feel that the art work involved would exceed the $117!

or just get vinyl,
you could also hit it with some clear over if you want more protection, just discuss products with the sign company to ensure compatibility

I am redoing my Mustang 17.
I sent pictures and dimensions to a vinyl sign shop so they could make me masks of the font. I will apply them to the sides and shoot paint over them and then remove. Cheap method.

I am looking for large SKI NAUTIQUE hull side decals for my 1991 Ski Nautique. Nautiqueparts.com wants $117 per side and I'm thinking there has to be a better option. Anyone have any tips?

Thanks

Brian
