Terry,
For the pump, T in a mechanical pressure gauge. You should get 5 to 9 psi out of the pump.

I have a 1968 Chrysler Marine 318...pulled the engine for work on hull. Prior to reinstalling engine, I am replacing all hoses, impellers, plugs, wiring, etc. Question: How do I test the fuel pump?
