No problem reusing it, If it had been sitting for 10 years I would say get a new one. But new fresh seal just installed, I would reuse it. Why did you have t take it back apart?

I'd reuse it, it has no wear and tear on it. It should fit just fine the second time around.
I've reused one in the same type situation and had no problems afterward |

Quick question. I was assembling my engine and ran into a snag and had to disassemble the entire thing. Am I able to reuse a Fel Pro 2 piece rear main seal after it's already been crushed in there for a few days (and engine never ran)? Fel-Pro part 17746 Thank you. |
