Well did all that and once again hooked to hose and water comes out both sides, more on the left than right. Once started no water on the right and that is the side the got to hot the last time and we thought it was the collasped hose?? Any ideas??? Right hand riser not getting water, how do we clean out a clogged riser??

It sounds like you will have found everything.
Just hope no big pieces of the fried impeller are stopping up those water jackets in your motor. Keep us up dated!!! |

Howdy all,
Well I read alot of great info on this site about this. Somehow someone missed the step when it cam to opening the valve to let that nice cold lake water in and we lost power within 4 minutes. Got it back to dock took it home and changed out impeller. Connected to a hose it ran fine again. Bought to lake second time and by the time I got to camp site I was steaming hot, enginge temp was only 190. I could feel water going through the Ttat housing. We found a clopased house on the right hand riser. We are now going to fix that and replace Thermstat. Can that be all that is wrong? Please say yes my new wakeboards are screaming to get out. this is a rebuilt 351 Windsor pcm motor...55 hours on it... |
