When I bought my super sport it had 1 slightly bent fin(the middle 1 of 3) and you could tell it was bent by the way the boat handled. Less noticeable at higher speeds but it definately didn't track straight, it wanted to turn under way, and there was a noticeable "rolling" of the hull between low and high speed plane. Needless to say my boat was the beneficiary of the '95 ski that was being parted out in Indiana. Replacing the fin made a world of difference.

It wouldn't hurt to file down the sharp edges but other than that if its not bent or twisted you shouldn't ever notice the difference

On our last outing, while loading back onto the trailer, the boat slide very weird on us on the bunks. Has never happened before, and we did not do anything any different then we normally do, so it was a little unnerving.

Upon inspection after being out of the water I noticed that the front stabilizer fin got nicked on the trailer. it was a straight on hit and did not bend or loosen the fin.

Does it need to be replaced or can we still make work for the time being?
