Yeh, thanks for the reply, having read through a few other posts and then gone to town with the WD-40 I now have the concept of how it all works but will replace them all, I picked up the amp ratings for each off the nautiqueparts site and have a supplier over here that can do a direct replacements.
one again thanks for your reply Cheers Dave |

You can find those breakers on Nautiqueparts:
https://www.nautiqueparts.com/?s=breaker&post_type=product Skidim.com has them as well. Just make sure you get the proper amperage for the particular switch you are replacing. They should stay in when pressed firmly. They kind of work like a mechanical ball point pen button. If they get worn out, or if there is an actual electrical fault causing them to pop, then they won't stay in. |

Hi, here we go with the next part of the 1997 196 overhaul, I bought this boat just before Christmas and since then have slowly been sorting out the problems.
Now looking at the electrics, most of the breakers on the dash are outwith the exception of the ignition and ACCY 1 and 2, the lights that are on are bilge, nav lights and anchor lights accy1 and 2 with ignition off and ignition comes on when turned on.. should these breakers stay in when pressed? sorry to be a bit dim but never had a boat with this type of setup, always had a fuse box, just shows my age. I will now search for wiring diagrams etc, but would be gratefull of any information or instructions from you guy's. Many thanks Dave |
