Okay, I took a piece of wood and tapped on the light to break it free. It eventually came loose, there was two sided tape holding it to the bow. Luckily, the wire was broken at the crimp, so I can re-solder it back together. I'll put the ordered spare on the shelf.

1988 Ski Nautique - wire broken and dangling from the front nav light. I have a new light on order, but was curious if anyone has had to replace this Aqua Signal Series 20 Bi-colour light before. Evidently it is held on with two sided tape (at least the new one will be. Any tips on how to remove the original light?
