Just go down to your local rug/furniture store and buy some stair runners, typically those are 2 1/2' wide by whatever length you need.

I need a bunch of carpet to recover the wood bunks on my trailer. Some of the boards are approx 22'. I can find several sources for shorter lengths, but I do not want to have seams. Does anyone know of a good source where I can purchase long lengths of good carpet for this purpose?
