That's going to be fun. Luckily it'll be about another 100 years before the world runs out of parts to rebuild 350's. By the time my '03 needs a new engine you'll probably be able to buy an electric conversion kit.

Not sure why the DI bobtails would require significant mods?

Jody Seal says doubtful to fit under motor box plus harness adapters aren’t out yet. Sure adapters will come along as PCM is pretty good about that. Guess motor box can be altered but that’ll just ruin the look in my eyes. Plus he says non cat repowers are nearing end of its road.

Can't say I am impressed with the condition of that low hour 200 SNOB. Dock rash port side... the seadek on platform and rear seat vinyl looks to be poorly maintained. Guessing it spent most of its life under those trees out in the elements.

Actually I think 1997 was last year for the production of 351. Likewise, the 350 has stopped production but still available. So you guys contemplating putting a brand new 343 PCM in your purple 1993 SN better stop thinking and start doing. The DI motors will likely take mega mods for the older boats.

If you’re a footer and you want a 200 you will want the 409 or better. 343 might not get you there. I assume any DI engines are going to take care of that. Not a problem with older SN models (except MAYBE the 5.0). Just what I’m hearing. I test drove a 200 with 343 and it hit 41 and change on GPS. Drive it before u buy it.

Two different hulls. Two different internal layouts/dimensions/etc.

Possibly different motors. The 2011 will be a chevy, I believe the 2003 could possibly still be a Ford.

The 2011 has Zero off, or supports zero off. The 2003 did not come with zero off and may or may not support zero off.

Here's an '05 at Meredith Marina ...

here it is on their own website

Looks pretty good in the pics. That boat is about 20 minutes from me. Might be able to swing by for a look.

There are garage queens out there, I found and bought a 1995 with 99 hours on it in 2014, it had been stored inside for 20 years and not used, I purchased from the original owner..
It still needed about $2,000 in parts to get it in good condition but the engine, interior and hull were perfect so I bought it and enjoy it a lot.
Test drive them both and see what you like and hear the owners stories.
Pay attention for easy starting, no vibrations and check the bilge to see if you are taking on water. If you are happy with the way both run keeping $17K in your pocket leaves you a lot of money to cover any repairs and to vacation with. Good luck with your choice.
Remember Toys are just a place where you throw money, it does not come back to you so enjoy your toys and replace the money with good memories.

Yeah, without seeing all the details we would only be speculating...

I would expect a well treated garage kept 2003 SN CB to have 800ish hours and sell for $20k... I would expect a 2011 SN 200 CB to have 400 hours and sell for around $38k.

Before I purchased a boat with so few hours, I’d want to know it’s full story!

If I am a little low I would just wait until September ( I live in PA). We are in mid July, all boats are at premium!

$2011 200 SN low hours. $40k++

Somebody needs to tell you that the SN200 wasn't born yet in 2003

So if it's a 200 you want you have one choice

Those are two different hulls you're looking at

I am doing some research on a used boat to buy. I found two used ski nautique 200's, both kept in excellent condition. One is a 2003 and one is a 2011. The 2011 has about 250 hours and the 2003 has 100-150. Are there any significant differences between them that I should factor in?
