   Thanks guys.
Going to pull it for all the mentioned reasons. Just got boat, no idea how long tank's been in there. I'll clean/replace hoses/check everything. Thx.

	last fall I replaced the sender unit in my 1986 SN without pulling the tank. Wasn't easy but wasn't that hard either.

	In my 1994 SNOB, I tried to remove the sending unit without pulling the tank. The access was just too darn tight. I ended up removing the tank when I realized that I was fighting a lost cause. Sending unit replacement then was very simple. Additionally, with the tank removed, you can look inside the tank for debris, rust, etc. Also makes for a good opportunity to check the anti-siphon valve, hook-ups and hoses. Once the tank is out, changing out hoses is very simple. I realize that my 1994 is not the same hull as your 1982, so your mileage may vary. JQ
